We believe in getting our hands dirty, learning as we go, and creating something real rather than chasing what is easy. We're Ryan and Susie, the husband-and-wife team behind For Metal.
After years of living and working in the fast-paced Bay Area, we made the move to Oregon in search of a slower pace and more time to invest in the things we love.
Ryan spent years working in the medical field, while Susie built a career in healthcare alongside a background in graphic design and photography. Together, we wanted to create something that combined our experience, creativity, and love for the heavy music community.
From that, For Metal was born.
What started as a creative outlet has grown into a community dedicated to supporting bands, artists, venues, and the fans who make this scene feel like home. From designing merch and capturing live shows to creating content and telling the stories behind the music, everything is created with intention and backed by our own experience.
Every design, every photo, every video, and every order is handled by us. We're not a corporation, and we never set out to be one. We're simply two people who love this community and wanted to build something that gives back to it.
